Applicants must reside within the geographic boundaries of the school. The Gathering Place’s geographic boundaries are as follows.
Primary Attendance Boundary: 78201, 78213, 78228, 78229, 78230, 78238, 78227, 78237
Secondary Attendance Boundary: Alamo Heights ISD, East Central ISD, Edgewood ISD, Ft. Sam Houston ISD, Harlandale ISD, Judson ISD, Lackland ISD, Medina Valley ISD, North East ISD, Northside ISD, Randolph ISD, San Antonio ISD, Schertz-Cibolo Universal City ISD, Somerset ISD, South San Antonio ISD, Southside ISD, Southwest ISD.
To be eligible for Kindergarten, the child must be five years old before September 1st of the year the child starts Kindergarten.
Each sibling interested in enrolling at The Gathering Place must submit their own application. Siblings who fail to have an application on file by the end of open enrollment will not receive any priority for admission. A public lottery will be held for any grade in which applications exceed open seats.
Prospective students whose applications are received after March 15, 2024 will be accepted or waitlisted in the order of the receipt of the application.
